Terms of use

Last updated 1 August 2026 · These cover this website and the waitlist. Separate terms apply to accounts inside the product.

1. The agreement

By using this website or joining the waitlist you agree to these terms. They're between you and [legal entity name] of [registered address], which we'll call "we" and "us" from here.

2. Access and availability

Access to Projects.chat is currently granted through the waitlist rather than open registration. Feature descriptions on this site are provided for information and may change; nothing on this website is a contractual commitment that a particular feature will be available to you, in a particular form, or on a particular date.

3. The waitlist

  • Joining is free and creates no obligation on either side.
  • We'll email you when your invite is ready, and occasionally to ask what you'd want built. That's all we'll email you about.
  • You can leave at any time — reply to any email or write to hello@projects.chat and we'll delete your entry.
  • We invite people in the order they joined, but we may bring forward teams whose situation helps us test something specific.

4. Prices on this site

Prices shown on this site may change. If you join the waitlist, the price you start on when you're invited is held for twelve months from that date. Nothing on this site takes payment, and no card details are collected here.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Submit other people's personal information to our forms.
  • Attempt to break, overload, scrape at volume, or probe the site outside good-faith security research (for which, see the security page).
  • Use the forms to send spam, malware or anything unlawful.

6. Who owns what

The site's design, copy and code are ours. Anything you send us through a form stays yours — we use it only to run the waitlist and reply to you, as described in the privacy policy. If you send us an idea or feature request, we may act on it without owing you anything for it; please don't send us anything confidential through a web form.

7. No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and the descriptions of unreleased features are statements of intent rather than commitments.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any other liability that can't legally be limited.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address, and material changes will be emailed to the waitlist. These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction].

Questions: hello@projects.chat, or the contact form.
